2026-2027 Pledge

“Everyone is to be humble, thinking of the interests of others before your own, and giving generously.”
— Philippians 2:3-4

“There is nothing as real and authentic as giving one's Self away in Love.”
— Mother Mary Oda

The Scriptures are packed with testimony after testimony of generosity emerging from the most unexpected places. What seems little, humble, or meager can become a source of abundance for others, such as with the Widow of Zarephath, who shares her last meal with Elijah despite having close to nothing. And yet her provisions did not run out.

Generosity is measured by what we are willing to share. It begins with recognizing what we have to offer and how those gifts can serve others.

The generosity of Moreland's congregation has helped sustain its ministries, support its staff, care for its building, and extend its welcome into the wider community. Each pledge contributes to the ongoing life of the church, making room for worship, spiritual exploration, service, community partnerships, and meaningful connections with our neighbors. As new opportunities for building use and community partnerships develop, financial support helps make Moreland's shared spaces and resources available in new ways.

A pledge is commitment to the people, relationships, and possibilities that make Moreland's ministry meaningful. It helps keep the doors open, creates space for new partnerships, supports those who serve, and extends God’s welcome and care beyond our building and faith community.
